The Refugees camp was formed in the year 2001, by its founder and band leader Roger Millar. Roger's vision was to produce a band with a difference: personalized, family service, beautiful, unique costumes and a 'wild and wassy' good time on Kadooment Day. He delivered. Roger brought a team together of family and friends to produce what is known today as the Refugees.

The Refugees is a truly a family affair with Roger at the helm as band leader and his sisters Lisa and Lee-Ann by his side as costume designer/creative director and marketing manager respectively.

The Refugees look forward to welcoming you into our family as we take Theatre of the Streets on the road for 2008.
